Daughter's Challenge - Shoot Penny at 600 yds

Thanks, that is my secret (shhh) plan....I really like that fun you have with your girls in the shooting sports. :)
 
As Fathers and Grandfathers (Papaws), one of the neatest things that we can do with the kids, is to introduce them to the Appleseed Project (http://appleseedinfo.org/). They combine shooting with the stories of the foundation of our nation. Both of you can participate as it is not just for kids. It is a great way to bond with the kids and you will be "planting seeds" that will stay with them forever. I did this with my grandson a couple of years ago when he was 12. It was fun. Ideally, it is setup for a 10/22, but I saw folks do it with their AR15's. We used a Russian Biathlon trainer gun with a standard USGI web sling. It worked great!

I'd not heard of this before, but the link you suggest has alot of interesting info. Will have to look into this. Thanks, Drew
