Took my wife fishing once, after hooking up the boat and getting everything ready for the big day on the water she asked “when will we be leaving in the morning?” I said I’d like to be on the water at daylight so we need to roll around 3am. “No way I’m getting up at 3am” she says... Damn, I had to get up in the middle of the night and change all the clocks by 3 hours so I could let her have her way! Lol

You two enjoy every outdoor min. you can, while you can. Me & Madam are slowing down after thirty something years of hunting & fishing together. Married bliss. I quit one hunt club that would not allow wife's to hunt. Screw them. my motto, "With et' thou go 'est" & "thou shall not weigh more than sir." Poor girl had to tie her own dry fly & catch a trout w it before I would propose. She prefers hunting to fishing, even with the bird dogs, less junk to haul around. I Had a few GF's that only fished "convincingly" . not good enough. I'm the happiest "manservant" in the whole wide world. mike in ct
