Data Powder 2230-S

I got an 8lbs keg of Data Powder (Accurate) 2230-S from my father. Has anyone used this powder? Any luck in the .308?
I would like to load it in an AR10 .308 or even AR-15 .223.
Load Data sheet says it will run in both. Figured I would ask and see if guys have used those combinations with success.

I used all I could get in 223 and loved it (for bulk loading prairie dog medicine). Both 2230-S and 2230-C were very accurate in 223. I don't recall the exact speed in reference to 2230 or my exact loads - been too long ago. Never had occasion to try either in 308.

Works great in my .223 and .223 AI both have fast twist so shooting 40-55 grain bullets . 26.5 gr. In the Ackley with 50 gr Viacom can’t remember on straight .223 but I think .2 grains less

I will give it a try in the 223. But they are 1/8 twist, so the 55 grain won’t be ideal for that twist rate.

Yes you will have to back off the heavier bullets, what are you shooting 69’s or so?

I really don’t want to use my 69gr SMK I have those dialed in out to 600 yards using varget
I have a A Lot of 55gr bullets that I would like to use. I will just load a few and see how they shoot.
