Dasher with 105gr to 107gr at 5500ft

Hy guys,

Bryan mentioned that shooting 95gr Berger Vlds had 20% or 25% more stability at 5500ft.

I am shooting 95gr Bergers at 3180fps and it easely groups under 5" 5 shots at 1000m with my 10 twist Dasher. But I am running out of bullets and there is no stock in SA.

I have managed to shoot 107gr Sierras out to 200m in tiny groups.

My question is, I believe that shooting a bullet that are marginally stabilized reduces the BC. If I lets say shoot the 107 Sierras or 105vlds ot to 1000m without keyhole problems, how will I know wether I am worse off than shooting the 95s that are well stabilized.

Thanks
Chrisjan

You can use this calculator to get an idea of what your BC will be for a given bullet/twist/altitude:

Should help to answer the question your asking.

Take care,
