Dasher vs 6 x 47L velocities.

Would it be about right to assume/figure with "26" barrels" that a Dasher would have about a 3000 fps top velocity and the 6 x 47Lapua about 3100 fps top end with 105gr Berger's ?

By Top end I mean running at 63000psi give or take.

My Dasher with a 30" Rock Creek ran 3070fps.

My 6x47L with a 28" Lilja ran 3060 fps.

My 6x47L runs 105 Bergers at 3150 in a 26" tube and has no signs of pressure. I think most Dasher guys peak out at 3050-3070 in 28-30" tubes as previously stated.

Good rule of thumb is 6x47L is about 150 fps more with same twist, barrel lengths

I got the same speed just took more powder to do it But I never got the 47 to shoot. Cut a 1/2'' off and made it Dasher. The barrel I cut is the best shooting gun I got. I had two 47 FIRST and LAST. Larry

Speed is nice, accuracy better. Both are accurate at similar velocities.
