Are the 70 match kings very consistent? Do you ever do any measuring on them? BTO or Bearing?68 Grain Berger FB and 70 grain Sierra BTHP
Thanks, I’ll get that VV app!viht max load of n133 for 6br would probably be a great place to start
I jump everything Sierra, so I measure base to tip, a little more or less doesn’t seem to matter. These loads are dumped from a Harrell’s. I use them for informal 100 meter matches. They work just fine. Are the 70 match kings very consistent? Do you ever do any measuring on them? BTO or Bearing?
its a good app for starting load data...just an FYI their max loads are notorious for being conservative, i'm not saying don't mistreat them, but don't be surprised if you discover their max loads are kinda weak. Thanks, I’ll get that VV app!
I would suspect that they are conservative, most reloading manuals are that way.…but don't be surprised if you discover their max loads are kinda weak.
Mine’s a 1:8, no problems at all. I guess a calculation of the rpm’s would be helpful to see if they may be on the edge to disintegrate. FWIW, long ago, I shot Service Rifle, 52 SMK’s out of a 1:7, they all made it to the target just fine, albeit the velocity was probably a bit lower.Alright, I am interested. Is anyone spinning these lights bullets out of a 1:7.5 barrel?
How is the accuracy?
