Dasher Fireform help...

I have been trying to read but dont see what i want.

My First 6 dasher, I firefromed with the step shoulder method and pistol powder. for my first fireing and i got a case @95% formed. BUT they are short. deprime and necked 1/4 of the neck on a 6BR die. fired a load of 33gr's of RL15 with a 105 berger jamed .015. It has shot very well. groups have been .300 to .380 in very windy conditions. without any tuneing work. that is my second fireing and now have a nice full formed case. But they are short.
1.525 OAL. So I dont know what to do about it? Im thinking, so what if my neck's are short as long as it shoot well.
Im running that .2704 Neck and i am going to have to turn. so my plan is Anneal, size the neck down, run it on my expander iron and turn. I hope i grow them .010 to .015 in the process.

Is the short neck ok, if they shoot well ?
How can i get them to blow long ?
I have had trouble with PTG they never gave me a print for this reamer, I have E-mailed them,called ect. and have never got it. I need to try and call again monday. But it's a PTG 6Dasher, .2704 neck, 104FB. as was reccomended.
I have no idea what the over all chamber length is?

I`ll go out on a limb and say its a 1.563" chamber length. I wouldn`t sweat the short length with it shooting well. I never have been bothered by how short, just keep them under the 1.563". Have fun with your new ride!!

Get a hold of Jim (johara1) he will have all the correct answers you will need to properly blow the cases out where you need them to be, Dmoran can also help you with it, hope this helps you some.

Boy would i like to come out and shoot in that tunnel. Maybe we could work a deal, If come out you guys could come this way. At Whitehorse if back up too far in front of the bench they will have to give first aid when you hit the bottom. LOL...... jim
