Dasher FF "BLOW LENGTH"

I am glad you found out for yourself. I have been shooting Dasher
In Midrange and some 1K Prone for about 10 years now. Fire formed
1500 so far. Still shooting most of the original stuff. Except when I
got Greedy for speed. I shot a lot of small matches while fire forming
This is something that might interest Sling or F Classer for practice.
I noticed using the larger expander mandrels really hurt my overall loaded run out .005+
I now expand with a mandrel that gives me about .004 over chamber
neck diameter. I lube case necks and turn and pec the case over the mandrel.
This keeps the run out down below .002 Not to mention it means the case is more centered
in the chamber. I fired 500-600 cases this way and case length was spot on
There is no reason you cant get 1/4 minute or better fire forming dasher.
The only time I have ever seen differences in length (short) is when I under power
when fire forming. Almost forgot, fire forming was done with cci 450

Cool thread. My 22 dasher was a little awkward to me beins the brass shortened so much . Just over 1.540". Gonna run with it. Annealer is on its way as neck tension is all over the place!

We used DJs brass for our BRXs. His formed brass came back at around 1.542-3ish. After a cleanup trim and first firing we are still at 1.542.
