The Louisiana 4-man team shot their two targets today during our regular monthly 600 yard match. The first and second targets were used and the first target was used to determine the team since we had many interested. Team members along with their first target score were as follows. Doc Jones (Vicksburg) 49-1, Doug Wasson (Greenville)48-2, James Mock (Baskin, LA)48-2, and Rusty Durham (Haynesville, LA)48-1. Below is a list of these 4 men's equipment and 2-target scores:Doug-BAT/Krieger/6 DASHER/Berger Hybrid 105/Varget/NF 15x-55x 98-2
James- BAT/Brux/6 BRA/ Bart's 105 Gungnir/H4895/Valdada 36X 97-2
Doc- BAT/Krieger/6 BRA Vapor Trail 103/ H4895/NF 15-55x 95-1
Rusty- Savage Target/X-caliber/ 6 BRX/Sierra 107 MK/Varget NF 12-42 BR 90-1
TOTAL 480-6
Let me add that Doug Wasson really had his Dasher dialed in in some unfriendly conditions. Also, a shout out to Doc Jones' granddaughter, Macy who finished second to Doug in the Custom class.
I had some problems with my camera, but here is our overall winner Doug Wasson.

We have several competitors with super accurate rifles. However, we shoot only for score and a super group can be displaced by the wind and cost the shooter points. The target above was shot by our winner, Doug Wasson and as one can see he lost 2 points with a superb "group". The wind and mirage were tough but some were able to master it.
