Dasher barrel length ?

This question has probably asked and answered a 1000 times but i am too lazy too back through the forums.
I am going to build a 6 dasher for 1000yrd BR and wondering if there is a barrel length that most shooters are going with , and have not decided on 3 groove or 5 groove . Any input would be appreciated .

Mine is at 28" the next one will be 30"............just cause i can...

Mine is 26". Next one will be 26". Very easy to tune. Paul.

I have them from 30"- 26.5 and they take a good hit below 28" and above is not worth it a gain of about 7- 10 fps. From now on it's 28 for me and the idea of the 30" was to set it back and that is a waste of a chamber job, the lands are starting to round off..........jim
