Dasher/6 x 47L barrels.

I've noticed that there are .236 and .237 barrels used. Have any average velocity differences been noticed when switching between these different barrel sizes when using the same barrel lengths/brands, twists, bullets?

Also what made you use one size over the other, .236/.237 ?

FWIW- Frank Green from Bartlein Barrels posted this on Snipershide (2 yrs ago):

There is no difference in performance in barrel life or accuracy between the two. Bullet failure is higher in .236 bore barrels. If you do go .236 stay with the 5R style rifling as it will help deform/upset the bullet jacket less vs. an even groove barrel. I use to shoot .236 bore barrels but don't anymore.

We do make both.

I'm going to send some information requests to some barrel makers and see what they have to say, after all they probably get more feedback from customers findings then we will ever hear. 8)
