I just had to stick up for Dan, over on another forum. Replied to a post about a 700 that wouldn't fire. The bolt handle had come off an he'd had a 'gunsmith' put it back on. I figure the handle wasn't placed right on the bolt body. I recommended Dan at accu-tig.com. He replied back, "That's just some shop welders with a web site". I guess it just pissed me off to think that he just has no respect for skilled labor, so I replied he "could do whatever the hell he liked! When I needed a bolt handle put on in the right place I send mine to Dan. He does good work at a very fair price". Dan doesn't know me from Adam, but I've sent a few bolts to him, over the years, to time and weld a handle on and I've always been impressed with the quality of his work (I wish I could weld as good!). Where do some of these people think high quality products of any kind come from? I was listening to some talk show the other night and there were some statistics from 2008-2009, when the economy was crashing. There were, supposedly, many jobs available, just no people with the needed skills to fill them. Like I said, I guess it just POs me to think how some must feel about skilled labor. Do they think you take the time to learn a skilled trade because you're too stupid to learn to do anything else? Rant Over
