Dangerous varmint: Brown Recluse Spiders

I'm not sure about this. I found it on the google...
Mixing a poultice of activated charcoal with a bit of water and cornstarch or flaxseed powder can help cure bee stings, poison ivy rashes, snake bites, spider bites (including highly poisoning bites from the Brown Recluse or Black Widow), and other poisoning bites.

One time I was digging out my elk hunting gear when I thought to look through my homemade grunt tube (vacuum hose). Sure enough there was a spider hanging out in it. Tapped out a black widow. Glad it went onto the floor instead of my throat...

Yes, we have exterminators in Arkansas. I had my house professionally bombed and sprayed twice within a year. Didn't help. The problem with recluse spiders is the way they move. Most non-web weaving spiders (wolf spiders, jumping spiders, tarantulas, etc) will drag their abdomen on the ground and that's how the poison gets into their system. Recluses never allow their body to touch the ground.
I have read the brown recluse also has something on their feet that insulates them from poisons and makes it hard to get rid of them

I remember when in lived in Arizona I saw so many black widows and scorpions I just knew I would get hit. But I never did but my uncle sure got it from a scorpion one day while we were working on his boat. It sure looked bad!!

I always pull down my sheets on the bed and look before I get in bed at hunting camp.

I have found them hiding there before. Right at groin level too.
