having never compared it to any other ,yes i do like it. much easier than turning the knob on the rcbs trickler.i am wondering how long the 2 AAA battery's are going to last

Good deal. I never have upgraded from the manual trickler yet.

Like lots of other gizmos around, if you think it'll improve your process and results, give it a shot. As to price, 130 is better than 300 for the Ingenuity, is the difference justified? Manual activation vs a plugged in application to the scale, would seem to be the difference, is one really any more accurate than the other? Only way to know, is try it.

The batteries lasted a couple years for me, that was alkaline. I switched to the lithium batteries now, as I've had alkaline batteries bleed - and ruin many a flashlight in the past, and that gets expensive fast! I'd rather spend more on batteries now, than the cost of the actual thing the batteries are in later.

The Dandy Trickler works remarkably well at precisely measurements. There's two speeds, fast and slow. And I get to where I can tell now long to push the button to get close, then typically each kernel of extruded powder is .005 grains a piece, and I can get a charge exactly to my weight.

Bought one a couple months ago as I needed to upgrade my trickler badly. Should have bought one a long time ago. Way faster and more accurate than the manual types that always seem to overthrow right when your near your target weight.

I got mine used for $75. if its burns out tomorrow I would not hesitate to spend $130 for a new one. .0005gr accuracy. You can spend more for one that is hands off, or you can push a button. I to can tell just about how long to hold the button to get to weight. I dont use the high speed at all, my BR3 will throw to .01gr mostly, I put a competition guts into the BR3 housing and it made it more accurate. good stuff costs money, buy once cry once, and enjoy the accuracy.

I know this question wasn't directed at me but, I had a Hornady and it worked just fine for almost 3 years. Finally, it gave up the ghost and I went with the Dandy. The Hornady also 2 speeds and you can also trickle one grain at a time with it.

what you dont see in this picture is that the trickler is about 4 1/2 feet up from the floor. I stand to load. it allows me to move left and right with little effort with no bending over to see the scale .

I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering, after using both the Dandy 2-speed trickler and the Hornady Vibratory trickler what is your opinion of both?

I have the Dandy now and love it. One thing about it you could resale it here pretty fast. I assume not so for the Hornady.
