Damaged in shipping????

Take a look at the pictures of my rifle after UPS got done shipping it!

The replacment stock is going to be $961.60

The funny thing is I just posted a message in a thread concerning flying with your rifle or shipping it to the match.

Roll the dice & take your chance folks.

Kinda makes ya sick seeing a $1800 gun snapped in half!!!

Due to poor service and damaged goods I have quit using UPS. I find US Mail for small packages other than handguns to be the best. Ship Priority, Insure, and send delivery confirmation.

For goods tha must be sent common carrier, due to regulations or insurance needs I use FedEx, DHL, over UPS. They may cost just a bit more, but damaged goods has been less and they are nicer to deal with.

UPS has gotten cocky and very arogent. I just settled a complaint with then. I took 9 months to settle after they admitted they were wrong.

The last two packages that were sent to me via UPS were very well packaged and both were damaged. One was from Howell CNC and it had several hundred dollars worth of damage done to it. The other was from MidwayUSA. They have taken it on the chin and replaced the item as they did not insure it.

I have never had a damaged product from DHL.

UPS has lost over a $50,000.00 per year account and they really don't care. If I was a stock holder in UPS I would be raising hell or selling my UPS Stock. I advise all of my customers not to use UPS unless they have no alternative. UPS has a particular displeasure in shipping firearms.
