Absolutely nothing can be said but plain, ordinary, downright comdenation of this persons handling of that rifle.

If I was on that jury I would immediately address the judge and ask why he allowed such stupidity to carry on in his court....then I would ask to press charges on that idiot for being threatened and intimidated with a rifle. I may get condemned for it but let the DA worry about it for a while... that guy is a total azz!!

With my background as an LEO firearms instructor, if I was a bailiff in that courtroom I would have stepped in to clear the weapon and instructed the DA from putting his finger on the trigger. If you are charged with courtroom security you would have failed miserably if you didn't do this.

I applied to this kind of job in the federal courthouse but that's another story.

I'm sure that weapon had been cleared many times but isn't that how it happens "I thought it was unloaded"

In short: it essentially was the same "crime" as one of the charges flung at Rittenhouse in the trial.

Even that hack ought to appreciate that.

When i read bout many of these incidents and the background of the people is disclosed, it shocks me that these people are not in jail. Gorge Floyd home invasion with a gun, one of the dead in Kyles case was a child molester, the jump kicking guy has a long criminal history. If these people were serving time they could not cause this kind of trouble. All the news agencies are saying that this is not over that Kyle will face many lawsuits. Really, what are you going to get from and 18 years old??? I would be interested in the AR but it doesn't look as if the prosecutor wants to give it up.

Or, rather, the truth was. After making the accusations, the trouble with the prosecuting attorneys was that they then had to bring proofs. They had none, aside from utter conjecture and supposition. Heck, they knew that back in 2020 when considering the indictment.

They weakly imagined Rittenhouse the villain and a criminal, merely because he carried a gun; that he used it simply "sealed" it in their minds. He must've been the "bad guy" just because of that. Their premise had more holes than Swiss cheese. And they knew it, but thought they could get away with it.

Of course, the lead prosecutor also believed the stunt of aiming the gun at the jurors could be gotten away with. That premise was, sadly, true enough. Though he's vilified as certifiable, now, after having done it.
