Similar set up with PST 6-24x50 on a 25 MOA mount with .92" height rings. It's close to barrel but not touching.Could probably go 1" height to give room for cap.

I have a 455, but can't tell ya what scope or rings I have on there.. Unless CZ has changed the bolt handle the scope may interfere with the bolt. I took my bolt handle off and ground it to shape for clearance, then re-blued it.. I am not familiar with an SIP base, but I have used a DIP rail on my 17 Hornet in CZ.. Me? I'd go high rings..

You don't know what scope or rings you have on yoir rifle, you had to grind your bolt to make it work and you reccomend med rings? Thanks but i think Ill wait.

I have a 6x24 Viper PST Gen 2 on mine with Burris medium ZEE rings. I wish I had gone with high rings. The bolt clears the scope by about 3/8" with the medium rings.

Medium rings?? I wrote High... You are welcome.. And since you edited your original post, I now see DIP base, which I have on a 527. I used Talley rings on the 527.. And I still say HIGH for your scope.. Mine is smaller..

I have the leupold VxII-3 in 4x12 and used the 11mm Leupold med rings, cleared just fine and did not need to work the bolt handle over, clears just fine.
