CZ455 Pillars

Is anyone making them for sale or do you just make them yourself? With the front pillar needing to be trimmed a bit for clearance I was thinking someone must just make the pair. Also, I have seen a little about the trigger springs, where is the place to get them and what weight spring is recommended for about a 1lb. pull?

I own a brand new CZ455 Varmint. Just tested at 50 m with RWS Club and Lapua Center-X ammo before any upgrade (I only replaced the factory trigger spring with 1 lbs YoDave spring). Same results and more or less 0.5" 5 shots groups (Harris bipod, 20 MOA dovetail to picatinny base, UTG rings, Nikon Monarch 3 6-24x50 FC scope).

I arranged the two pillars using a threated lamp brass rod 10 mm diameter and cut the front pillar for magazine screw clearance. Sanded the stock screws holes for pillars fitting. I would use 5 min epoxy compound (fixing tonight or tomorrow). After the pillars only range test results I will decide for glass bedding.

Brass lamp stuff is ok but also see if you can get steel spacers. The brass lamp rod might actually be a perfect fit and you will need to hand tighten them into the wood.

Either way, you will need a Demel or similar to cut into one side to get the notch needed.

Well, if anyone needs some 1/2" OD aluminum rod to make their own, I have about 20 6" pieces available.

PM/email me for some.
