CZ452 Timney trigger issue

Do any of yall have one of these? I cleaned up the underside of the firing pin smoothed, and polished. as it looked like they used the shittiest endmill in the plant making that pin. The bolt actuation is still very stiff. If you put a little pressure on the trigger it runs very smooth. It seems as a little needs to be taken off the sear on the trigger. Have any of yall ran into this also?

Thanks!

Jake

I did polish out the firing pin, but I think the trigger sear is up to high causing a bunch of drag on the firing pin during the slide back and forth. I'm just afraid to get to stoning down the sear and go to far.

Some Timney triggers on cz's will require stoning on the sear of the trigger. That extra upward pressure from the sear against the striker will cause poor ignition and possible vertical stringing.

I found the action screws were too tight. I was holding it vertically and went to loosen the screws and the bolt dropped back. With the screws just snug tight it runs pretty good now. I'm going to bed it this weekend, hopefully my scope and rings will show up tomorrow.

Make sure the action screw isn't too long and touching the bolt in the rear tang. If it is hit it with a file real quick. If it isn't, totally need to pillar/glass bed that thing as its got stress in it.
