CZ 527 American

I am not sure where I should have posted this question,please excuse me if its in the wrong section,I am new here. I am thinking about a CZ 527 American in .223. I was wondering if I can get some opinions on this guns accuracy. I plan on using it for a mixed bag,,Coyotes/Groundhogs. I would like to shoot as far as 300yds if possible. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

I have the varmint. They are really cool little rifles. Very accurate for a factory gun. The only issue with the American is slower twist. Don't know if your in a windy place, but I prefer high bc bullets.

I will be hunting in upstate NY,so I don`t think that's considered a windy place,is it? When you say slower twist,slower twist as opposed to what?

im on my 3rd cz 527. the 223 is a 12 twist in all but the Kevlar Varmint model if memory serves me correctly. the Kevlar is a 9 twist for the heavier bullets. Extremly accurate rifles. IMO. pm sent also

p.s. i use a Leupold 2.5-8x VX3 on one of them a Leupold Mark AR 3-9x on the other and the third has a Nikon Monarch 2-8x.

I have a 14X on my 204, 300 yards is easy. The set trigger is sweet also.
