The cutting, forming and such! I cringe at the thought. It makes me tired just thinking about it.
I'm not saying this isn't a cool round, project, rifle, etc, it is, and if someone wants to put in the work, go for it.

The 17 Squirrel round is about like a 22 magnum on the noise level. Maybe just alittle less or the crack is. The scope base is some old Tasco made in Australia rings installed on a file that has been shaped and drilled for this. The file teeth are still on the bottom side. Makes a nice one piece base. I enjoy the 17 Squirrel and the Long Beard Turkeys want like it soon once Spring Gobbler Season opens!!
Interesting color phases on those squirrels and the 'nads on that one white-faced are as big as his front feet! Must be getting ready for the "Spring Frolic".
Very cool round. Great shooting!
