I have had both for CZ 457
The Timney is a great Crisp trigger I would say is perfect for PRS style where you are not looking for a bench rest light trigger
My experience with the JARD was it was plenty light-no issue there but was mushy feeling --you go to pull and it felt like you were pulling the trigger through day old oat meal--light but no "break" just mush
Many folks love them but after days of goofing with mine and a bad match with it I took it out

At present I have a factory trigger with a $10 spring and once you learn to adjust the sear engagement --you get a really nice trigger in the 5-8 oz range for cheap.
Tuned like this for Bench shooting--the sear adjustment is touchy and critical to getting a good SAFE trigger--I start by --torgue the action screws to where you want them--set your over travel to your liking, then cock rifle--SLOWLY turn sear adjustment in clockwise until rifle fires--then back it out 1/4 turn--Check for slam fire--I can go out about an 1/8th and have it on kill but once in a while it will fire if you close bolt too hard--I feel like that is too close so usually 1/4 turn out is plenty safe and feels Great!
This is for Bench only IMO

I will note--set this close it WILL change if you release action screws--you must TQ the action back in the RE_SET the sear adjustment

only time I have ever heard of a rf mount come loose was a clamp one. That is why some still come with a set screw from the top to lock it down. The clamp ones just don't hold

IMO yes. I have owned two Timney triggers for CZ 457's both a curved and flat trigger and one Jard, I still have the Jard sold the Timney's.
"In which way?" buy both and see for yourself which one you prefer, I'd bet it will be the Jard.

Trigger: Timney: Its fenomenal trigger. At 10oz it breaks like glass.
Scope base 30MOA Area 419.
Rings Discovery Optics. I don't see a rational for any other expensive rings. They are perfect for a 22. I also mounted a set on a 308 rifle too and will report how they hold.

I have a couple of CZ’s most have DIP rails. My latest is sporting an Area 419. The engineering on the Area 419 rail is unparalleled. If your budget allows it then this is what I would buy. I like the additional height of this rail, which provides more clearance for the bolt knob as well as the scope over barrel. If you still need additional height to shoot more comfortably from prone or off-hand then you can still add high/x-high scope rings.

Honestly, either of these two scope rails work and are more than adequate. Depending on your rifle setup, style of shooting, and budget objective, choose the one that best fits your needs.

Skip the extra rail and use good rings mounted directly to the dovetail on the receiver.

D3 Precision rings are some of the best you can get and they have heights from 0.5" to 1.5" in 0.2" increments. Find the D3 Precision web-store on eBay.

If you never shoot more than 100 yards you might skip the rail... BUT.. Using a rail opens up your ring choice/availability enormously. I use 30 MOA on everything. That is good out to ~<300 with a 30mm tube and around 350 or so with a 34mm tube.
