CZ-457 Criterion prefix barrel

Has anyone tried a CZ-457 Criterion pre-fit barrel from Whidden? If so, what do you think?

I ordered one from Whidden. Should be here in about a week. I’ll post my results after shooting with a variety of ammo.

I bought one last year. I’ve only shot 39 rounds through it though. It did really impress me. I only shot SK RM and UM22 through it. These aren’t all the groups that day, but wow.
The reason I haven’t shot it more is I work 60+ hours per week and what little time I have to shoot I’ve been shooting ABRA Factory with a CZ 457. I liked the Criterion ao I bought a blank and had it put on my 2500X. I shot one match with it after a windy tuning session. I came in middle of the pack, but it did shoot a 199.

I just got my CZ barreled action with the Criterion prefit back from having it bedded into a BR stock. Haven’t shot it yet.

I put a 24" straight profile, .90" diameter barrel on my CZ457.

For the price point it is a tack driver.

SK and Lapua varieties pretty readily shoot .3" groups at 50 yds (5 shots per group).

I think it has the capability to do better with a tuner on it.

Just got mine delivered. Will install it and test it this coming week. Glad to see people getting good results.

Yes. Using Norma TAC-22 ammo, my rifle with the Criterion barrel shot a .166" group at 50 yds. Pretty amazing, especially good value.

I don't shoot benchrest.

Installed a 20" Whidden Criterion on a CZ457 action. It's working well enough for my wife in long gong.

This is 10 shots at 50 yards with SK Long Range Match.

I wish they made those MTR stocks in left hand configuration.

CZ457, 20" Whidden Criterion, MDT XRS stock. This pic also shows an original Bushnell DMR 3.5-18x50 scope, which has been replaced with a DNT The One 7-35x56 scope.
