Looking to sell my CVA Scout v2 converted to smokeless. This was a 45/70 that was converted using a Hankins plugs and ignition system. I have shot a deer each season the last 2 years since i built it. One at 125 and one at 225 yards. I have only shot it about 20-30 times. I was getting about 1.5-2.5" 3 shot groups with no load or bullet work. I was shooting 65.0 gr IMR4198, 275 pittman accumax bullets. These usually shoot in that 1" range with the right load/bullet ect. Some guys use wads as well. Always wanted to try Arrowhead bullets, but never did.
Only reason I'm selling is to build myself a full custom.
Scope, rings, and sling not included. Just the gun, rail, collapsible rod with handle and spinning jag for low drag bullets, funnel, and ill toss in some powder capsules and 10 of the 275 pittman bullets along with 22 or 23 of the primer modules (whatever i have). The rod is marked with tape to avoid double loading. One big bonus is not having to always worry about cleanup right after shooting these. Same as you centerfire rifle.
