Custom Turrets

I bought a scope with a coupon for a custom BDC turret from them but I waited too long and didn't get it.

Any way, when a decent scope manufacturer endorses them like that, I imagine that they are good to go.

I got some about 6 years ago for a 25.06. According to my test(?) results the turret was right on for minute of coyote. That was all I was looking for. Of course, if you move elsewhere you will have to make adjustments.

yes, i have one on a custom 300 RUM, and i can dial on IHMSA silhouettes that start @200 yds chicken, 300 pig,400 turkey and 500 and 600 rams....back down, in between and honestly hit center every time....Now, this is also a testament to a 6.5-20 Zeiss Conquest scope (old model). BUT....it's accuracy depends on you supplying accurate information to Kenton Ind. And remember, the changing shooting conditions will effect the turrets accuracy,,,,I believe it is well worth the money...

Anymore, there are labels custom made that are cheaper than dials, should last if not totally abused, and you can always remove if your load changes....Just another option, Kenton and another place offers them...one will even make them off the diameter of the turret, in case it's a weird dia.rsbhunter

I have one on a BSA for my 22-250 and its works fine as long as I shoot around the same temp, altitude, bp as the turret is made for, its to many varibles for me and dont want 4 or 4 of them to change for the conditions, now I am going to the calc on a pda and doing moa corrections, much more accurate to me, the turrents are just like the ballistic reticles, they work well for the conditions they are calibrated for

I know the calculations are a lot more dependable, but a 223 that I use for coyotes with the dial is fast enough that I can range, dial and shoot 90% of the time, out to about 500 yards....they both work great for the applied situation.....I use a tablet with ballistic app for the range...it works great. it is Custom Turret Systems that makes the custom labels.....rsbhunter

They are great but have their limitations. If you are only planning to hunt to around 600 or so yards then they will perform well.

fantastic, why the 600 yd limit ? 2 weeks ago I used it to shoot to 824 yds with the 300 RUM on a 12"x12" steel plate at a buddy's place. He has steel at 100,200, and so on out to the 824 yd . As long as the range to target is accurate, the dial seems to be accurate....Now, a lot depends on on the accuracy of the scopes repeatability, click adjustment accuracy, and parallax on the scope....same as having come up's....rsbhunter
