Custom ST1000s — Two colors

Its a beauty Brett.
Funny how pictures never seem to do them justice....Mine turned amazing,
and the colors are so much deeper and vivid Live...held in my hands.
Especially the way they look when the sunlight dances on them like a Candy lead sled at a car show.

Brett,
As an aside note, a shooter came up to me on the firing line at the BSWN and said "You have the most beautiful rifle on the firing line". I was shooting the red rifle you did for me and this guy was truly impressed.

Thanks John, your stock has sparked a lot of interest. Not to be picking favorites as I truly enjoy all the stocks, but we did start the year with a pretty spectacular job on your Kestros.
It is high on my list of i don't know how I pulled that off amazing!! Lol

Doing any aluminum chassis stocks ?? I have an MDT Oryx
I've been milling a custom fore end, and rudder butt stock
It will be a one off, and unique. I do my own powder coat,
but I hear it thru the grapevine that your paint tighten's
up the groups !!
I've only ever painted 1 chassis.
It was a Sky Blue Marble and for the same person as this ST1000.
I'd have to see detailed pictures looking closely at tolerances.
A paint job like this adds roughly
10-12 mills of material.

So I gotta ask, What's with the adjustment slot on the back end of the rudder . New term I'm just hearing about.View attachment 1319558

Here's some info and videos. https://www.wheeleraccuracy.com/videos

There were some 1st generation rudders with slots at each end for some real crooked stocks lol. When I first started the rules didn't allow attachments, so we would go between the range and the mill about 6 times until tracking was perfect. And only then would we have the stock cleared. Once attachments became legal, it was a no brainer to make tracking a lot easier. It became basically standard equipment on the Deep Creek Trackers, and then the LRB after that. But you can do it to any stock as you see here. My cerus stocked ELR rig has one, and it's very effective even for that. Everything I own that's intended to be shot off bags has one.
