Here is a mount I made for a Winchester Model 71 that I'm converting to a 450 AK IMP takedown.
I wasn't sure how well the island style base would look but I like it. It uses Talley style dovetails. I modified a Trijicon RMR dovetail mount for a red dot option, a long with the scout scope setup. The base sits low enough to not interfere with the iron sights also. The bolt has the factory peep sight that the owner wanted to retain.
I'll post more photos of the rifle later. It's been a pretty involved project.
