I had C. Sharps do their potassium cyanide color case on them. I rust blued everything else to help match the sheen of the color.Did you do the blue/heat treat on the metal bits?

Single shot (and double) rifles are the ultimate in firearms beauty. Their large sides provide a blank canvas for an engravers art. I have a Borchardt out being engraved. I will have to post pictures when it gets back. Then we can talk about gorgeous swirl figured walnut stocks. And rust bluing...
