CUSTOM DIES ( HELP )

I am in the process of having 2 custom tactical rifles built that will be done shortly. They both will be fed by magazines, have custom actions and the whole 9 yards. The calibers will be a 308 and a 6.5x47 Lapua. No necks will be turned on these and i will be using Lapua brass on both of these. I will be going the extra mile on these prepping brass and so forth. In the past on various rifles built i used Redding dies and on some wilson dies. I want to have some custom dies made for these and right now my gunsmith does not make them or offer them for builds. So when the time comes to have them made what is the best route to go. Send out some fired brass or can i get the specs on the reamer being used and use that instead of fired brass to have the die made. Also i will be using a wilson die to seat my bullets. Do you think i should have a die made for that to. Some help needed to make some decisions. Thanks ....DAN.......

Send some fired brass to Lynwood Harrell. Although their site lists only the 6PPC and 30BR Remington, they've manufacturing many more that aren't listed. Contact info is at this link: http://harrellsprec.com/index.php?crn=207&rn=384&action=show_detail

Another way to go is to buy a FL die, size some well used fired brass, and then order a chambering reamer that fits the cases as you would like it to. This is more economical than many custom dies, although if Harrell's makes dies in the calibers that you are using, this will not be the case.
