Custom Die Suggestions Wanted

You will need a minimum of three once fired cases to send to which ever manufacturer you use to build the die. Most manufacturers have a custom die department. I know RCBS does because they made my neck sizing die for my 358 Winchester. You should know from the start that a custom die will cost about three times the price of a standard die in the same caliber. I like the quality of RCBS and if you should ever need it their customer relations are excellent.

Seating dies and Neck dies can be made with the chamber reamer for a perfect match.
Full size dies and Body dies can be made by a matching die reamer, or by a generic relationship then honed/polished to size/shape based on spent cartridges, or by CNC.
Both the full sizing and body dies need to be hardened.
Seating and neck dies do not need hardening
Die blanks and a capable gunsmith is how I like to go at it.
(sort to speak; if they can't make dies, they can't chamber my barrels)

What is the purpose and quality of your chamber?
If you are loading for an ordinary hunting rifle Forster BR or Redding BR dies should be more than adequate.
If your rifle has an ordinary chamber the same goes if you can get the dies you need from Redding or Forster.
If you have a bench rest or competition quality chamber and barrel and you need the best results then you might consider one of the custom die makers.
If Warner is out of your price range most other custom dies may be out of your price range too.
You might get someone to make you a set of Wilson type hand dies though. Wilson even sells blank dies that only need the chambers cut.
Neil Jones is another custom die maker.
Because of the custom dies are one at a time items you pay for setting up the machines every time you buy a die. Often the set up times are longer than the manufacturing time so you will never get a custom die at a production die price.

Neil Jones makes great products. The OP has to decide how much money he is willing to spend.

Neil Jones dies are well known and that is the problem. When I talked to him a few months ago, he said I would have to wait 6 to 8 months for a die.
Whidden does it for me in two months. I've bought two custom dies from them and will buy another after I get a couple fired cases from my new 7SAUM. Their quality has been excellent for me.

The way i did is, buy from Bob White, then get Neil to make the bushing.. much faster!
