What he said. All my "1 off" dies are Whidden and I honestly don't know how they could improve on them. Good folks to deal with as well.

I would buy a Whidden for sure. Harrell's is not a custom die whatsoever. It's a semi custom die that will work. Your going to pay more for a Whidden but their dies are second to none. GOOD SOLID GEORGIA FOLKS!

You have received very good input.
By doing this you will be able to make what you can consider an informed decision.
My Widden 6br die set is off the shelf. I like everything about it.
Dave Bruno made me a custom years back for my Competition Match, probably the best die I ever had.
I've researched the others mentioned here and with the exception of Harrell's which I have nothing against I believe you will not go wrong with any of them.
I do believe that Harrell's is as mentioned, basically semi custom.

Unless they are making more that rules out Harrell's, they make 6BR, PPC, Dasher and 6.5 x 47L. As mentioned, Harrell's are semi custom. They make several dimensions for each cartridge and use your fired brass to match the most compatible. The quality is verry good and most of the time they are ready to ship, not full custom but much better than the off the shelf flavors. For my 47L they matched a die that turned out every bit as good as custom, don't know if I lucked out but pleasantly surprised.

I have a Harrells number 3 6BRA die and a Wilson full length bushing die for the BRA also and they size practically the same for me. I dont think u can go wrong with either one.

What I found was just because it is "custom" and you send in brass, does not automatically mean it's going to be what you want.
