Stiller 2500XR is the repeater set up to use Savage 10rd mags. Vudoo V-22S is a single shot available in RB/RP, RB/LP, LB/RP, or LB/LP. It's got a 3-lug action, which puts the bolt stop (a sqare tab) over on the left side of the action, directly opposite the bolt handle, and fairly low on the action. No idea if Gary's set up receiver tubes to work with this action yet, but would bet he'll be doing so as soon as the demand for it picks up. The V-22S was just released a few months ago, but I'm seeing more and more of them appearing in online forums, so they're going to be making a name for themselves by next spring when the 2021 shooting season gets rolling.
The 1st 22RF rifle I built for myself was on a 2500XR, and it was a slick action that shot well. But for use in 22RF PRS/NRL22 type matches, trying to hit the magazine chute under time limits was kind of a PITA. I wound up selling that rifle to a friend and converting a couple of CMP 40X/XB actions into repeaters that use the V-22 10rd mags, then selling one of the 40Xs and buying a couple of V-22 repeaters.
Just finished my V-22S a few weeks ago; it's a very fine action, comes with four extra striker springs - from 13 to 17lbs - that are easily changed so you can tune the action to work with the lightest of these springs that gives reliable ignition. I just tested mine with the l3lb spring last evening, and had 3-4 FTF out of 45rds, so when I got it back into the shop to clean, swapped out the 13 for a 14lb spring, and will try it again next chance I get. I chambered a Shilen R5 contour ratchet select match bbl with a Nevius reamer, finished it at just under 25", then put a Pro-X tuner on it. Vudoo offers the action with a 90* sear for use with a Flavio Fare trigger that's adjustable from .7 -2.8oz, or you can specify a 60* sear angle and use other custom triggers. I went with the Flavio trigger, and have been very pleased with it. Mine's in a McMillan Kestros stock, which I ordered with a BAT SS trigger guard. Very fine rifle, and I'm having a great time learning to shoot it with a PQP Precision Joystick one-pc rest.
