I've owned many custom 10/22s. My hands down favorite 10/22 guru is Kidd, the last two I had him do the complete build and couldn't be happier. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

I have 4 Kidd barrel custom 10/22's and 3 GM custom 10/22's. My last build was letting Joe Chacon build me one of his custom ABRA 10/22's with a Douglas barrel. None of my 10/22's will touch it. This thing tracks like a dream. It is exceptionally accurate.

I was curious who joe chacon was. Looked him up and he lives 45 min to an hour from me... didnt know about him when i build my KIDD. Im still happy though.

First day shooting it produced my best yet with any 10/22 gun I have shot. Joe says it will only get better. Now before someone says my measurement is off just know all 5 shots are inside a Bic ink pen. This gun will shoot with the Suhl 150 Benchmark barrel I had.

Nobody in my honest opinion makes a 10/22 more accurate than Joe Chacon.

There is nothing wrong with a Kidd barrel. But this Douglas barrel Joe put on my custom 10/22 will shoot repeatable groups from the best the Kidd barrels will do occasionally. And it will just keep on doing it.
