Current Shipping Practices/Regs for an Action?

Hey all,

I plan on selling one of my actions that will be replaced by a custom soon and was wondering what's the lay of the land for shipping an action, individual to the buyers FFL? I can't keep up with all the rule changes. I think FedEx and UPS are pretty much done with this but wanted to confirm.

Recently sold a rifle. Had to go to local FFL shop to send to buyer's FFL.

As long as the buyer's FFL will accept from a private individual (non-FFL), you can ship the rifle action via USPS. You will just need to include a copy of your driver's license in the box for the receiving FFL's logbook. (Note: non-FFLs cannot ship handguns via USPS.)
