Current Burn rate charts variations, where is N170

N170 is somewhat slower than H1000 and its density does not make it ideal for the likes of 7WSM and 6.5PRC with anything other Han the heaviest per caliber bullets. Even at that I don't see you hitting optimal velocities. It shines in the big boomers like 300NM and 338 LM.
But looking at the chart above it seems faster than H1000? Doesn't seem likely to me but I don't rely on burn rate charts all that much.

From personal experience, N-170 is slower by a considerable amount than H1000.

we shoot a 7mm Geramo, which is a 6.5x55 necked up to 7mm and Ackley Improved.

Our go to powder is H1000, which pushes a 162 ELD Match to 2870 fps.

We tried some N-170 last year, and could never get over 2700 fps before there was simply no room for the bullet.

Burn charts are relative things. Every one seems different. Ballistic Assistant shows N170 right next to H-1000 but a tic faster.
Maybe some confusion on my part as to burn rate of N170 as it appears it is the 500 series of powders (especially N570) that are slower than the corresponding 100 series.
I use Retumbo with 153 A-Tips in my 6.5PRC with good results.

I think you'd have better luck with a slightly "faster" powder than N170
What bullets (weight) and barrel length are you running in each?

153.5 Berger in 6.5 PRC and 184 Berger in 7mm WSM . I'm getting low on Re# 25,26 and N565 &H1000 . I check the reloading suppliers almost daily ,recently have picked up some N170 and Ramshot Magnum .
