CSS R5 Tube gun

Hi folks, I have an R5 and I want to change the lower to an RTS Style to accept the AICS mags. The gun is a 6BR, very sweet shooter but I find the mags do not stand up well to our field shooting disciplines. Does Gary supply these as loose items? I don't have an e-mail for him and I am in South Africa.

If I recall correctly the RTS and R5 bottom metals are not interchangeable but I would definitely get it straight from the horse's mouth. Plus Gary is a great guy to talk to anyways.

I have a current R5 that I built up in 6mm Dasher.

I use the R5 bottom metal and Gary's nifty 5 round mags as well as the RTS with AICS mags.
Both fit my chassis and take a few minutes to change.

I originally got the R5 bottom metal as I did not know if the AI mags would feed the Dasher, but they do.

Hi all, Gary responded that the two housings or BM's are not interchangeable and that I would have to return the action sleeve to him for modification. Because of ITAR/import/export restrictions this will be prohibitively expensive. Tim, did you have to modify your action sleeve in any way?
