Cryogenically treated barrels???

Butch, Just one it was garbage and i set it back for fire forming. It is not a FF. barrel anymore, but it's not great. It can win,did it improve ... yes. It doesn't walk or move when heated is the plus. 20 rds. it will stay in a hole, that is what i was after and that is what you get. I think people believe it will make them into a hummer but it doesn't an average barrel is still average but it doesn't move with heat and this is what makes them more consistent. I am watching the fire cracking and it seems to be less, they clean easy but the story is still out on those till after the next batch. If you don't heat them up with a bunch of rounds i don't think you will see as much improvement as some one burning their fingers on the cleaning rod after they shoot...... jim

Boyd, Long range is 10 shots for record and sighters maybe 10 more or less depending on the conditions on a hot day you cook a round if you don't shoot it right away. My Ivy rods will burn your fingers cleaning but it's not as bad with light gun. I prefer over kill and have the ability to shoot more and not have the barrel to move or walk when it gets hot. .... jim
