Crimped 9mm Cases

I've only been reloading for a couple years now but have loaded about 4000 9mm so far and today I ran across some WMA Nato cases and could not get any primers to go in. Then it hit me that maybe they were crimped. Is this becoming more popular or did I just get hold of a few of these from range brass? Here's a pic of a couple cases showing the primer hole.

Our military crimps that way here in Australia.

You can knock them out with a sharp new countersink drill (I do mine with a 3 something volt cordless drill so it's not too aggressive) but it does reduce the depth of the pocket some. An inside neck chamfer tool works too.
