creedmore questions..

I have two remington model 7's the problem with these is that with most chamberings it is difficult to get mag fed rounds to touch the lands, aftermarket extended wyatt mag boxes cannot be fitted as the trigger group comes to close to the rear magazine slot. One was a saum and I got around this problem by creating a simple wildcat where I shortened the case 200 thou. The other is a 7mm-08 I use 140grain ballistic tips in this rifle and chew the plastic ends down 120 thou or so with a meplat trimmer.

anyhow I was thinking of getting the 7-08 rebarreled at some point and possibly shifting to 6.5 or even 7mm creedmore a it is shorter than a 08 case.

I know my tip-to-toe magazine length would be a maximum of 2.82 inches. Could I realistically expect to be able to seat to the lands over the life of the barrel and feed out of the mag with a 6.5 creedmore?

Also has anyone tried a 7mm creedmore and if so would it have a slightly shorter OAL? I'm guessing apart from reamer design and some basic die mods this would just involve necking up brass?

It would be strictly a hunting rifle and bullets I am likely to use are 140g ballistic tip/accubond and soft points like sierra prohunter and speer hot cor
