If I own a 308 factory rifle. Can it be a 6.5 Creedmore just by having a barrel chambered for a 6.5 Creedmore and screwing it on the action? Is feeding from the magazine any problem?

Yep...same bolt face/action length. As far as magazine feeding, it depends on the bullet used and seating depth. Some '.308 mags' will fit my 2.9+" COAL, some won't. With 130gr bullets...no problem. Some 140+gr bullets may not be able to be mag fed depending upon your mag.
