In an Fclass john review of the creedmoor sports scale he mentioned someone had connected it to a computer and each thing weighed would automatically be entered into Excel. This would be sweet for weighing cases, bullets, or primers. Does anyone know where I could get the software for that? Enjoying the scale so far!

I can help. So first you need to download this freeware program called: 232Key
Name comes from the fact that the scale outputs in RS232.
In case anyone needs a recommendation, here is the cord I am using to go from the scale's 232 port to my laptop via USB:
It has a chip built in that translates the RS232 signal to a protocol your laptop can understand via USB
Hook up the cord to the scale, then your laptop. Install 232key and start it up. Make sure the scale shows up in the settings of 232key and then press the big start button. At this point anything your scale reads will be automatically input into the laptop application of your choice. So it can be, notepad, MSword, or Excel or something else.
There are settings on the scale (find out how to change the settings in your manual) that tells the scale to send the data continuously or send the data on 'auto'. Continuous will basically send a stream of measurements as fast as it can. So you will get a zillion measurement values. Better approach is to use auto. It should only send data after the weight is fully measured and a stable measurement is reached. If you do not have the manual anymore, you can find it on the creedmoor scale's product page.
