Coyote calling

Funny you posted this, I was going to do the same thing. I live in Northern Missouri and have killed two during deer season ( last year ) and called in 5 since killing 3.
Dont think there is a shortage of coyotes in the area, me and some friends have been several times this year with little or no luck. We think everyone and there brother has a caller now and they are call-shy, dont know not a expert coyote caller.

Have you tried a good howler? I started hunting dogs the winter of 1970. Our local gun club had over 400 active members. At that time, of all members, there was only 3 of us calling coyotes!! During those years it was not uncommon at all to have 3-5 dogs come in at once! Sadly as you note, those days are gone forever.
