I think I read a article about this, said another reason to carry. Although I agree with carrying but completely disagree with the article. Like someone stated earlier, they need to fear people cause not everyone will be able or ready to protect themselves.

"He didn't want the animals put down" That doesn't surprise me. Thats kinda the mentality of alot of people in denver. When I was living out there a couple people and their pets were attacked in the city park while walking their dogs. The sheriffs and officials response to the problem was for people to carry tasers and not to kill the animals. You should of seen the look on my neighbors face when she asked me what I was cooking on the grill and I told her it was deer. :'( It was priceless.
