A guy on youtube, "Timmy mc" who posts videos all the time of a female coyote that isn't what I would call domesticated, but it trusts him and shows up at his place regularly. It's a pretty crazy story how that coyote came to be. He's posted hundreds of videos of the coyote playing with his dog and cat. It's an interesting insight to coyote behavior.

Below is a recent video on how Weave, the coyote came into his life.

That video is great! Back in the 60’s I had a pet coyote and pet bobcat. Once the coyote became older he would leave all day and come home at night. My dad, brother and I slept in the yard in summertime on cots because the air conditioner was too cold. The coyote would jump up on my cot and ambush the dogs. He finally began eating dad’s chickens so I had to take him several miles away and released him.
The bobcat was tough and had to release it too after it started eating dad’s chickens. Good memories!

It seems that lots of wild critters don't work out around people for one glaring reason, they kill chickens!

The guy I used to sell fur to had tried pets out of a badger, a bobcat, a ferret, and a turkey. Never a coyote as far as I know. The turkey was the meanest. They all had issues when they got grown. The bobcat wouldn't eat anything but actual dead wild rabbits.

Wild critters generally ought to stay wild. jd
