Was shooting sk match ammo and switched to lapua midas x. Accuracy went to heck. I noticed the coating on th lapua was a little different than on the sk. I gave it a good cleaning before shooting it. I went back to sk didn't come back. I have a harrel tuner just dont want to start adjusting until I can figure out what happened. It shoots consistent 1/4 groups at 50yrd or did. Any help?

Please explain your cleaning regimen. Also how many shots with the good shooting SK before you gave up? I'm only guessing but think you've removed the carbon ring or most of it. There's so much on the internet about gotsta remove the ring when most rifles are better off maintaining it. In other words, you need to build it back up to where it was. Just a guess.
