Cooper Phoenix 57m

Hey all,

I’m nearly positive back in my Scheels days I sold a few Cooper 57m rifles in 22lr.

They had the wide forend that was vented. Usually they were black and red webbing.

Does anyone know of one or own one?

Anyone have one for sale??

Thanks in advance.

yes, google said copperarms used bell and carlson stocks specialy made for the 57m, this is where it gets weird, i was at my local club in england this friday gone, and in the safe room was a cooperarms 57m 22lr with a you guessed it, a benchrest stock made by bell and carlson for sale £650 bs

What always baffled me is that the price was the same for walnut or fiberglass. I have a 57M 22LR LVT (light varmint target).

The thing I like most about my rifle is you don't have to use expensive ammo to shoot groups. You can see in the picture what ammo I use,
Below on the left is the test target that came with the rifle, on the right is the target I shoot with Federal auto match at 50 yds.LVTgroups.jpg

I have a phoenix 57m it was a package deal with a custom classic stock which was fantastic the previous owner never had the stock worked to accept the action. I sent the action and stock to Cooper and had the action fitted to the stock. I also had them shoot a proof target with it and had them ship it back to me in a cooper box. I know Cooper of Montana was closed probably within 2 years after. Glad I was able to get the work done while I could. I do remember the phoenix stocked rifle was not picky about ammo and shot well.
