Bought this a couple of years ago
it is an absolute hoot to shoot..

Yeah. That's really a cool gun. Is it reliable? Especially with full 357 mags. Can it shoot .38 Special. Seen these but, never heard any first hand accounts about accuracy and reliability.

Yes it has been reliable. I changed Springs to talor to my loads.
With 38 special it hardly moves.
The one pictured is a model C , I also have a modle B compensated. The pistols are a gas to shoot.
Shame the couldn't make the buisness work.

I just discovered the .38 Super. Comparable to .357 Mag , I would say a 357 Lite or 38 Special +P+. My RIA 38 Super is a fine shooting gun. 7.2 grain V3N37 & 115 XTP is an absolute tack driver. Can't afford a Coonan , but I can settle with this Rock Island.
