Adapting Savage blind magazine to HS Precision stock with detachable magazine

I have Savage 10FP in 223 and 308.

The 223 came with a cheap plastic thing for a stock, so I replaced it with this http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=610450 HS Precision stock and the group sizes went from .75 on average to .5 or less.

So now I want to perform the same operation on the 308. However, the 308 has 4.4" screw spacing, and the stocks that are available are all with detachable magazine.

What do I need (and where do I get it) to convert 10FP from a blind to detachable magazine?

There's a shop in FL that has done a few for a friend of mine, they make stocks and mags. for most bolt actions, Savage is at the bottom of the list in the link.

Unfortunately, it's $209 for the bottom metal and $75 for the mag. Add the $300 stock and it's $600. A new 10FCP-K is $700 shipped...

bell and carlson medalist has that spacing and is a blind mag set up. I have one and its a very nice stock
