Converting a .300 Win Mag Mauser to a .375

Hi all,

So I found an old Mauser at a pawn shop chambered in .300 win mag. I have never done rechambering before, but I have been told that you can make it a .375 H&H with a little work. Aside from buying and screwing on a barrel, what else would be needed for this transformation?

open magazine opening in receiver find a mag box set up that will work with the .375

Best bet, Sell the Mauser and buy a Remington 700 Long Action!

Or rebarrel to .375 Ruger which uses standard mag.
