converting 7mmBR dies to 6mmBR dies

I have some Redding Competition 7mmBR dies that I would like to use as 6mmBR dies instead.

If I just change the neck bushing out of the sizing die can I replace it with a 6mm appropriate bushing and call it a day?

Or...is there a dimensional difference between the 7mmBR and the 6mmbr somewhere besides just the neck diameter?

Thanks,

-T

IIRC the Redding Competition bushing dies don't use an expander button on the decapping stem. Otherwise you would have to change the expander to 6mm or remove it besides changing the bushing. Vic

Sounds like the old remington dies, two things first if it is, it will too small at the base and second the hole for the neck to pass through will be huge and when it contacts the shoulder may leave a step. Economizing and BR. are not used in the same sentence. .... I think you will find when you try to size a case if it is wrong and you know the bullet seater will not work. The chamber you have will be a 6BR. Norma not Remington...... jim
